Metalworkers are involved in manual and mechanical metalworking as well as the assembly of individual parts and components. They process metals and assemblies (e.g. for building structures made of sheet metal, pipes, aluminium parts and plastics). Their work techniques include filing, drilling, welding, turning, heat treatment and much more. They manufacture railings, stairs, steel doors and forgings, for example.

1. Apprenticeship year: € 1,000 gross per month, 2nd year: € 1,182.65 gross per month, 3rd year: € 1,546.13 gross per month, 4th year: € 2,028.95 gross per month
