Your tasks:
- Identification and evaluation of suitable suppliers and their offers in coordination with technology, project management and customers
- Conducting market research in various procurement markets
- Soliciting cost estimates and negotiating supply and framework agreements including prices
- Supporting the preparation of detailed reports (KPIs) for information purposes
- Supplier evaluation and risk management

- Preparing materials for procurement via the system (master data maintenance and article creation in the ERP system) or processing orders
- Supporting operational purchasing, e.g. processing order confirmations, scheduling appointments

- Building and developing the supplier network and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
- Participating in internal and external audits

Your profile:
- Completed technical or commercial training (HTL, HAK, university, FH...).)
- Multi-year professional experience in purchasing, ideally in steel and mechanical engineering
- Cost awareness
- Accurate and structured way of working as well as initiative
- Entrepreneurial and analytical thinking
- Sure handling of MS Office
- Experience in dealing with ERP systems is an advantage (SAGE)

- Written and spoken English

A gross salary of €3,800 is envisaged for this position based on full-time employment. We are happy to overpay depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
